Brookes Mill, Huddersfield - ref 4526

A 13.7m x 1.5m footbridge was required to link two car parks at the Heritage Office Park in Armitage Bridge, Huddersfield.

Founded in 1541 and believed to be the oldest family business in the UK, John Brooke & Sons commissioned a second footbridge from CTS Bridges for their premises in Huddersfield.  The old mill manufactured cloth for over 200 years but is now a Heritage Office Park which hosts a variety of artisan/creative businesses including a Dance School, Film Studio, artists and potters. The premises are also home to Sons of the North Cafe and the North Light Gallery as well as start up businesses and global brands so they required a second footbridge to link two car parks and enable better access for the public to the site.
